1. Document Preview

Documents is an important part of getting new jobs, projects and contracts. Thryv makes the document process easier with a secure and easy way to preview, store and share.

We created the ability for businesses to preview and view documents – including pdfs, images and videos inside Thryv Documents. Customers can view the preview inside their Client Portal. We also added in the CRM under Documents segmented view – client submissions, sent to client and added internally.

2. Centralized Inbox

We have made it easier for you to connect with your clients or potential clients with Facebook Messenger and WebChat integrations that connect conversations back to your Thryv inbox. 

WebChat- Secure more jobs and start conversations directly from your website with Thryv’s included Webchat! Webchat instantly auto responds and captures new and existing customer information, filling your CRM.

Facebook Messenger- Stay in touch with customers where they search and connect with you. Make it easy for customers to use their preferred platform to send messages, like Facebook, while you keep track of conversations and communicate all in one place inside Thryv.

Improvements

Here are a few cool new improvements we have releases this week or coming soon up help you use Thryv efficiently. 

1. Record Payment Enhancement 
(Launch Date: 1/18)

When Recording a custom payment for a client we have added a reference field and method name for you to fill in.

You can type in any method name for that payment and a reference field if needed. You can also save to use the method name on other payments.

2. Refund Enhancement
(Launch Date: 11/8)

Once the business issues a refund, they will now get a message asking them if they wish to “Cancel” the payment request or return it to “Pending."

This helps the business cut a step because before when a business issued a refund the payment request would not get canceled but it would go to pending mode. Making the business go into the invoice and cancel it at a later time.

3. Require E-signature on Individual Estimate 
(Launch Date: 2/7)

Get digitally signed confirmations on all Estimates from customers! Complete the entire quote-to-payment process securely online and secure more jobs and upfront payments with confidence. 

We added the ability for a business to notify the customers in the Terms and Conditions section on an Estimate if “signature is required” with approval. This is an enhancement to the Signature on Estimates feature launch. When business adds requirement in Settings, the checkbox will automatically be checked on all Estimates.

A minor improvement but impactful one with the ability to take digital signatures with Estimates and simplifying the process.
