1. ThryvPay Surcharge Expansion

(Launch Date: 4/6)

ThryvPay surcharges will be expanding into 8 additional states starting in April. These states previously had restrictions in place.

Allowing merchants to save thousands of dollars annually by offsetting their credit card processing fees (offsetting the 2.9% but not the $0.30).

Surcharges work on consumer checkout only (the consumer must visually see the fee and continue the transaction), it does not work on charges completed by the client.

• Cost Savings: lower processing rates

The following states will no longer enforce the surcharge laws. All clients in the following states can now charge optimal surcharges.

• California

• Colorado

• Florida

• Kansas

• Maine

• New York

• Oklahoma

• Texas

Excludes the following 2 states where it is currently illegal to charge a surcharge:

• Connecticut

• Massachusetts

*Businesses must still follow all local laws and guidelines related to surcharging; anti-surcharging laws remain on the books but are unenforceable due to recent court decisions at the local level.
