Drag and drop line items to reorder how they appear and/or group similar items or costs together under our new Headings feature.

  • Add one or multiple headers to organize your invoices and estimates better

  • Sort line items and headers with the drag-and-drop feature

  • Save and store header names for future use

  • Invoices created from estimates will inherit all headers and settings

  • Choose to display or hide header and line items totals via the customization bar that will appear after adding the first header (hidden details will be indicated in light grey and visible to the business, but not displayed on final PDF)

Improvements

Here are a few cool new improvements we have releases this week or coming soon up help you use Thryv efficiently.

Ensure all necessary recipients receive booking notifications and updates with Thryv’s latest enhancement. Coming next week – a new option to add additional email recipients to booking notifications.

This will allow the calendar invitation for an appointment to be sent to multiple recipients, instead of having to forward the email manually.

  • New option available from the New Appointment dialog

  • New section “Additional recipients and email notes”

  • Add emails of additional recipients to have them receive a booking email and calendar invite (will also be notified of any changes)

2. Outlook 2-Way Calendar Sync
(Launch Date: 1/23)

Based on the new calendar sync infrastructure, we’ve made an exciting update to our Outlook Calendar syncing. Introducing Outlook Two-Way Sync.

This will allow users to connect their Outlook and Thryv calendars both ways, displaying appointments within your Outlook calendar within your Thryv calendar, and vice versa.

  • Includes deprecation of old calendar sync settings for accounts who connect to New Calendar sync application or do not currently have a calendar connected

  • As a Thryv business user I need my calendars and appointments to be automatically updated and aligned with 2-way calendar syncing.

To learn all about this calendar sync read this article here.

3. Secure Documents Update

(Launch Date: 1/31)

We’ve made some improvements to our download and view document experience! All download CTAs (in the Client Portal and back office) will now immediately download the file without opening an additional tab.

Within document send/share emails, clicking on ‘View Document’ will no longer contain the Client Portal token (requiring Client Portal login), ensuring a secured experience.

  • Immediate downloads provide for a better experience and technical considerations

  • New login requirement to ‘View Document’ within emails will provide added security and lands the end client directly on the document page versus the Conversation page for an improved experience
