1. Single Transaction for tips and surcharge/convenience fees

(Launch Date: 2/8)

Previously due to limitations with the software, anytime a client added surcharges or convenience fees to their account they would display as 2 separate transactions with 2 separate processing fees.

We now have the ability to send a single payment intent to the processor that includes both the payment amount and the surcharge/tip fee together in a single transaction.

We will still create a duplicate line item in the Thryv Software Payments Received tab within Thryv.

• Cost Savings: clients are no longer charged 2 processing fees

• Usability: Consumers no longer see 2 transactions on their bank statement
