What’s New?

1. Quick Actions on Dashboard

(Launch Date: 7/1)

We are adding the ability for users to choose actions directly from the dashboard page. This will make a single point to have the main capabilities of Thryv available to drive engagement with one simple click.

• Users can customize their dashboard by editing the actions that they want to have displayed by using a simple and intuitive drag and drop functionality. They will be able to control the order of the actions by moving the ones they use the most to the front or remove the ones they do not want.

• Once you personalize your actions, those changes will also be visible under the Quick Actions button available on the left navigation for you to use anytime throughout the software. 

• This new feature is only on desktop version of Thryv, it will not be on your mobile browser or the mobile app.

2. Client Portal Scheduler Enhancement 

(Launch Date: 8/17)

We have created a better and improved scheduler for the client portal with a modern and up-to-date look.

• The business availability is now calculated, including the original requested/scheduled slot, so clients can reschedule within the time they already booked. 

• Once the appointment is scheduled and successful, the client will now see a success indication on the booking page.

• There is also a new and improved Event invitation flow. Business owners will be able to share event invitations directly or via announcements with their clients. The invite will take them to an event landing page that will allow them to see the event's details.

• If you want your times on the scheduler broken out to morning, afternoon and evening, you can customize that in Settings under Online Booking Options.  This is the place where you can customize how you want your scheduler to function.

App Market

Our App Market is continuously growing and improving. Here are a few changes and insights on what applications are live or coming soon.

1. Yext Advanced (live)

Increase your online listing performance with Yext Advanced. Yext Advanced brings you tools to enhance your online listings with the ability to add additional information across your online listings.This application will:

• Help you optimize your listings

• Help you add additional attributes to your listings

2. Mailchimp

Thryv works with Mailchimp to provide seamless two-way sync of your contacts. To connect this application to your Thryv account, it is required that you have a Mailchimp account.

This application will:

• Sync current contacts from Thryv to Mailchimp (First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Address, Birthday, Phone Number)

• Sync current contacts from Mailchimp to Thryv (First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Address, Birthday, Phone Number)

• Set an ongoing sync of contacts from Thryv to Mailchimp *If the client already exists no information will be updated

• Set an ongoing sync of contacts from Mailchimp to Thryv *If the client already exists no information will be updated

Requirements:

• Email is required for each contact

• An Audience is required in Mailchimp to sync Thryv contacts to

3. Enhancements

We have added some enhancements to help you navigate and use our App Market.  

• Categories: There will now a menu on the right side of the page where apps are filtered into the correct categories to quickly sort through the app you want to connect to quickly. 

• Featured Apps: There will now be featured apps designated within the marketplace with a gold banner across the front. These apps will always be shown at the top of the page.

• Notify Me: On Apps that are flagged as "Coming Soon," there will now be an orange button once clicked on the page that says notify me. When that button is clicked, the user will receive a success message indicating they will be notified when the app launched.

We are always enhancing Thryv with new and exciting things. Here is a little taste as to what is coming up. 

• Packages: This is the ability to group services into bundles to sell to your clients. There will be a new Settings page to create and manage these packages as well as the ability to send and promote them to your client base. Each package may include different types of booking credits that the client will use whenever they want. A new package page in the client portal will display the package details as part of the payment flow to allow clients to purchase packages online. Once a package is purchased, it will be listed under the client card, and they will be awarded a booking credit that they can redeem when scheduling a booking with you.
