New regulations have taken effect which require users to submit information about how they opt in their customers when registering to send texts
Emergency release solves for new regulation
The text message registration flow now contains two additional steps to collect the necessary info
The fifth step in the process will require users to describe how their clients opt in to receive texts. Do they text a number? Do it on the phone? When making a sale? Only one example need be selected, even if clients use multiple calls-to-action (CTAs)
The final step requires users to provide a link to an image showing how their call-to-action (CTA) is presented. This could be their site, a flyer, their vehicle – anywhere they offer to opt their clients in. It must be a valid URL showing the real-world call-to-action (CTA)
